The Fund’s activities are aimed at stabilising and developing the economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The National Association of TV and Radio Broadcasters (NAT) of Kazakhstan would like to welcome exhibitors, guests and organisers of the annual exhibition on TV and radio broadcasting systems, telecommunications and information technologies, KITEL2011, to be held in Almaty.
The goals of NAT, the professional public association of the country’s TV and radio broadcasters, include research of the television and radio service market trends, as well as advertising and marketing. The Association takes an active part in conferences, workshops and exhibitions to exchange expertise and establish business contacts.
Our president has outlined a policy on introduction of innovative and advanced technologies in Kazakhstan. This also affects the telecom industry as it is critical to keep abreast of the time and utilise more advanced technical solutions.
Kazakhstan follows its own path in introducing digital broadcasting, and plans to complete transition to it by 2015. This will become an outstanding milestone in the development of national TV and radio broadcasting, eliminate information disparity, improve quality and quantity of broadcast channels, and allow for a more efficient use of the radio frequency spectrum. Apart from digital television, we witness an active introduction of HDTV, mobile television, corporate broadcasting channels, etc.
